Application and Care route
Apply through Bureau Jeugdzorg Overijssel
This office is an important link in the application procedure for indicated care (youth care, residential care and observation diagnostics). If further care after a diagnoses proves necessary, clients will receive an indication for help from a youth care provider such as Jarabee. Clients are then entitled to youth care. Bureau Jeugdzorg will pass the indication on to Jarabee.
What exactly does Bureau Jeugdzorg Overijssel do?
Bureau Jeugdzorg Overijssel is an institution for children and youngsters up to 18 and their parents or care providers who have questions about growing up or raising children. They can come to the office without the intervention of a general practitioner for instance. Other people who are in touch with youngsters on a professional basis can also apply for information or advice. Bureau Jeugdzorg can offer help independently as well or supply an indication for youth care.
Bureau Jeugdzorg Overijssel is also involved in youth protection and juvenile rehabilitation. They can take preventive measures if they are seriously worried about the home situation of a child. Youngsters with a police record on account of an offence that they have committed, will receive support in order to prevent it from happening again.

The care coordinator will put all the arrangements in a strategy plan. In this plan is indicated which relief combination/care route has been chosen and also who is responsible for what. Different relief workers will form a relief team together. The care coordinator will keep all those concerned informed and plan the appointments for the interim and final meeting. The relief workers will assist the client together so that he/she receives the best possible support to achieve his/her goals.
